The Case for Mindfulness

...move from our current state of ignorance to consciousness with a sense of urgency. Living in a state of constant chaos and confusion is not natural. Everyday there is some event that distracts us or heightens our state of fear and anxiety. It is not natural. It is not humane. It is however intentional. And it is an effective tactic because we, as a collective, continue to be led like sheep. We can turn things around if enough of us heed to the call to detach from this material world and focus on building our spiritual selves. The solution is simple, direct your focus away from trivial matters. Be careful about who and what you give time, attention and energy. There is something greater and we can find it within.
